Yajieer’s toothpaste MOQ is 5,000 units for both stock and custom tube formats. Sampling takes 3–7 days, and quotation responses are provided within 24 hours. Confirm the quantity per variant, sample scope and production schedule in your written quotation.
A toothpaste OEM minimum order quantity is a condition of a specific manufacturing proposal. It can reflect the formula batch, the packaging order and the number of finished-product variants. Before comparing suppliers, ask what the quoted minimum applies to. A single number without a product and pack specification can be misleading.
1. Separate formula quantity from packaging quantity
The formula is normally produced as a batch, while tubes, caps and cartons may be sourced or printed in separate runs. These requirements do not always align. A stock packaging format can reduce design work, but it does not automatically remove every minimum. A custom tube or printed carton may introduce a separate supplier quantity.
Ask the manufacturer to identify the minimum for the formula and for each packaging component. Also clarify who owns any surplus packaging and how it will be stored, charged or used on later orders. This matters when your initial finished-goods order is smaller than the packaging purchase.
2. Calculate the requirement per variant
Five flavours, two sizes and several artwork designs create different variants. Do not assume that an overall quantity can be divided freely between them. A flavour change may require a separate formula batch, while a new label or carton can create an independent print minimum.
For example, a hypothetical order of 10,000 units across four designs is not necessarily equivalent to a 10,000-unit order of one design. This example is a planning illustration, not a Yajieer MOQ quotation. List each variant and the quantity you intend to purchase so the supplier can assess the actual programme.
3. Distinguish sample stages from production readiness
An available reference sample helps you discuss product direction. A development sample tests a proposed formula or sensory change. A finished packaging sample allows you to review tube, closure and artwork together. These are different deliverables, and approval of one does not automatically approve all the others.
Record the sample reference, date, feedback and the person responsible for approval. Ask whether compatibility, stability or destination-specific testing remains outstanding. Agree the milestone that starts the bulk-production lead time and how a revision will change that schedule.
4. Compare the total commitment, not only the unit price
A quotation may include only filled and packed goods, or it may include development, testing and additional services. Identify tooling, artwork preparation, printing, sample freight, inspection and shipping separately when necessary. Confirm the currency, payment milestones, delivery terms and validity period.
Use the same product brief when comparing quotations. A price for an unprinted tube and a price for a custom tube with a retail carton are not directly comparable. Confirm net content, units per carton and any tolerance or acceptance criteria that affect the final specification.
5. Keep the first range manageable
Start with a clear customer need and a realistic sales forecast. More variants can spread your launch inventory across more products, but also increase approval work and create slower-moving stock. A focused range makes it easier to evaluate demand and plan a repeat order from the same approved specification.
Ask how reorder quantities, packaging availability and artwork changes are handled. Retain signed specifications and approved artwork rather than relying on a photograph of the first shipment. A written change log helps the next production run match the product you approved.
6. Prepare a quotation brief
Include your company, target country, sales channel, intended consumer, product direction, formula requirements, net content, packaging concept and quantity per variant. Add artwork status, required documentation and your preferred launch date. If some decisions are still open, state the alternatives you want the factory to compare.
Yajieer can review your toothpaste OEM brief and confirm the project requirements with you. Obtain the applicable minimums, sample plan and production schedule in writing before placing an order. The final agreement should identify the approved product and pack, rather than relying on a general website estimate.
